There are many ways to purchase a personalised number plate. The first is directly through the DVLA themselves. Private number plate agents have thousands of plates up for sale with records updated daily and new ones added with prices starting from £125.

Do remember you cannot attempt to make the car appear newer than it is. E.g. if the car was originally registered on a P plate, you cannot put R, S, T etc. plates or the new style plate on it. Adorning it with an older year prefixed plate is acceptable - A is often the most popular.
